The Administrative Services section includes Property and Evidence, Records, Training, Time Cards, and overseeing the Motor Vehicle Department Operations.
In 2008, we’ve seen significant changes to several of our programs. We’ve made some upgrades to our department. We’ve increased the size of our department, added a sergeant and investigator. We continue to be a presence in the daily lives of our community and visitors. We also maintain a constant and professional police presence in all of our Elementary and middle schools.
Our Records unit processes a large amount of reports, phone calls, and walk-in traffic. In addition, our Training Unit ensures that we adhere to all state and federal training mandates for nearly 28 employees. We ensure the department’s 50 computers and Mobile Data Units continue to operate, police reports are processed for court, the court subpoenas are processes efficiently, and that all our employees receive paychecks. We work closely with Personnel on the hiring process and ensure complete background checks are conducted on all potential hirees. There is no doubt the department could not function without the dedication and commitment of the employees assigned to the Support Division.
