How do I surrender myself?
You can surrender yourself on a warrant by going to the Sunland Park Police Department at 1000 Mcnutt Sunland Park, New Mexico. During business hours you will remain in custody until the next arraignment time with the municipal judge. Non-business hours you have the option of paying the warrant amount (on cash bond only) before you leave, you will be given a court date of when you must appear in Municipal court. If you are not able to pay the cash warrant or if the warrant is a surety warrant you will be processed and transported to the Dona Ana Detention Facility.
How do I turn someone else in?
If you know the location of a wanted person, do not take action on your own. Only peace officers can arrest a person for an outstanding warrant. To report the whereabouts of a wanted person, call the Sunland Park Police at (575) 589-6600. Please be prepared to report the exact location where a wanted person can be found at that time.
